An absolutely stunning and very rare antique 20th century sterling silver Necklace with flower clusters, each set with mine cut diamond paste stones with closed back setting. The sparkle from the paste stones is amazing, they really do imitate diamonds well! It has a lovely book shape push clasp with gorgeous engraved chased design, a superb original quality period clasp. The necklace comprises of flower pattern design segments that have been set with white paste stones in cut down settings.

The main centre stones in each section have got black dots behind them. The necklace has British Silversmith & period markings on them. Antique Victorian drop necklace with sparkling Black dot diamond paste stones in riviere.

This necklace measures 16" long, the drop is an additional 1 1/2" long and total it weighs 57.6 grams. It comes in excellent condition with no missing stones. Truly a wonderful antique Riviere necklace, with foiled pastes that are still very bright and full of personality and sparkle.

No blackened or dulled pastes, no chips or cracks, no damaged links or stones. These necklaces are now extremely rare and this is an exceptionally good specimen.
