19th C. Cut Glass Lay-Down 4.5 Scent Bottle, Sterling Silver Top, c. 1890

  

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for an unusual antique cut glass lay-down scent or perfume bottle with Sterling Silver top. Beautiful clear cut crystal bottle with almost flat sides cut in two panel with a slightly raised rim in center and with curved sides with notch cuts on each edge. Lid is unmarked, however, it is guaranteed to be of Sterling quality. Bottle does have its tiny internal glass stopper.

Measures 4 5/8" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1/2 deep. The glass body is in excellent Estate condition with no chips or cracks although there are some faint surface scratches on the "flat" sides from normal wear (see photos). Sterling Silver top has several tarnish spots and minor dings with a dent on one side (see photos).
