The jar represents a transitional brilliant-cut style, featuring a deeply cut glass body with starburst base and repeating fan and geometric patterning. The sterling lid is decorated with finely engraved scrollwork and retains a blank central cartouche.

Material: Cut glass with sterling silver lid. Standard: Marked "925 [symbol] STERLING". Form: Vanity / powder jar. 11 cm diameter × 7 cm height. "925 [symbol] STERLING" stamped on lid.

Additional symbol present but not identified. Glass intact; no visible cracks. Cutting remains sharp and well-defined. Lid shows tarnish and light surface wear. Overall: very good antique condition.
