Antique Czech Green Onyx Uranium Glass Bead Necklace Sterling Silver Chain

  

Beautiful green onyx colored uranium glass beaded necklace. The necklace is made from antique handmade Czech uranium glass beads on a sterling silver chain. The chain is not original to the necklace, as it is much newer than the beads, so this has been updated or repaired at some point. The necklace itself measures about 17.5 inches long, not including the spring ring or jump rings. The beads flouresce bright neon green under black / ultraviolet light.

The beads are glass and not actually onyx, but this color & type of green Czech bead is called "green onyx". Since the beads are handmade, each bead is unique - most are not perfectly round and many have slight imperfections and color variations - adding more character & beauty to to the necklace. This is in good wearable condition with normal vintage wear - again, the beads are handmade and are not all perfectly shaped or colored.
