Rare French Antique Glass Perfume / Scent Bottle, Rattan Cover & Sterling Top

  

This listing is for a rare and unusual antique French perfume or scent bottle with rattan basketweave covering and sterling silver top. Measures 3 3/4" high with a top diameter of 1" and base diameter of 5/8. The bottle is decorated with an intricate woven basketweave rattan covering in good condition although there is some minor no-harm worn areas in the rattan (see photos).

The bottle is further embellished with a Sterling Silver hinged top with French hallmark. Opens and closes properly, does have some minor dents and dings on top from normal use. Miniture glass stopper inside although we could not remove it and did not want to force it.

This lovely perfume bottle is in very good condition for its age and very unique. Would make a great addition to any antique perfume bottle collection.
