Antique Bristol Glass 14K & Sterling Silver Crown Ring
This is an unusual Rococo-revival Georgian era ring. It is crafted from 14K rose gold with the pearls set in sterling silver. The center of the ring features bristol glass, a fabulous royal blue. On top of the glass is a sterling appliqué that is pinned into place. The bristol glass is mounted in a rose gold nicely etched frame. Surrounding the center plaque is an array of tiny seed pearls. The pearls are all mounted in sterling silver with a closed back. The ring features a rose gold shank. The shank has seen a lot of love, but it very wearable for years to come. It is rather thin and oddly soldiered at the split of the shank on one side, but completely stable and sturdy. This ring is not hallmarked but tests as 14K Rose gold and sterling silver with natural seed pearls. The ring is in over all good condition with signs of wear, the glass is completely intact and chip free.
There are no missing pearls or intricate details missing. Ring Size: 6.75 US. Dimensions of the face: 25 mm x 17.7 mm.
