A lovely antique pair of open salt cellars with cut crystal bodies and sterling silver rims, hallmarked for Birmingham with a lion passant sterling standard mark, maker's mark, and date letter. Presented in the original fitted case with hinged lid and velvet-lined interior, which also holds two small spoons. Please note: one spoon is genuine sterling silver (also hallmarked), while the other is EPNS (electroplated, not solid silver) - likely a later replacement.

Disclosing this upfront so there are no surprises. The case shows some wear typical of age but the hinges and clasp are functional.
