A lovely pair of antique Edwardian English, solid sterling silver drop earrings; with filigree type teardrop design and set with glass orbs, known as'pools of light'. These cast a strong magnified spot of light behind them which is extremely pretty, and miniaturise the scene behind them which is an enthralling feature. They date from around 1910 and are in excellent, fully wearable condition throughout, with no loss or damage. They weigh 9.6 grams together and their drop is 1 ¾ inches, the orbs being 14 mm diameter.
