Antique Sterling silver Repousse Glass Vanity Powder Bottle. Art Nouveau Maiden

  

This antique vanity powder bottle is a stunning addition to any collection. Crafted from sterling silver and adorned with an Art Nouveau maiden, this piece exudes timeless elegance. Talc Shaker or Talcum Powder Jar. The lid is a beautiful Art Nouveau woman, and a well known design used by at least several companies. Unger Brothers did whole vanity set. The glass is likely pressed glass, as an opposed to cut crystal. This unique bottle has sawtooth designs on glass bevels.

The maiden with long flowing hair looks to have a secret and smiling about it just slightly. The sterling hallmark is in the top lower right.

There is typical silver patina with the age. The top silver cap on one side is pushed down a bit from closing and using daily use. There is minor wear and tear from daily use. All in all beautiful and has minor wear and age. Please see photos for condition.
