Fresh looking, soft wear is noticeable only on close inspection. Silver setting has a bright patina with minor surface wear, no dents.

One piece has a slight vermeil finish with a consistent finish that has little thinning or wear. Glass sparkles with crisp faceting, no chips and minor surface wear.

No stones are missing and they are all original. Clasp is original and secure on all three bracelets, one has original safety chain. Made by hand or in small groups of similar styles, vintage jewelry is individualistic with its own special story. While not a set originally, this set of three Art Deco line bracelets are beautifully matched to wear together or in combination with other pieces in your collection. Style of bracelet was made to highlight shimmer and color of stones with as minimal of a setting as possible.

Links pivot neatly for a smooth and slinky feel along your wrist. Sparkle has been a key element of jewelry design and the way gemstones are cut for centuries - as well as an indication of quality. For example, the bezel-set brilliant cut was developed to enhance the light-reflecting qualities of gemstones, like diamonds in the light. In addition during the Georgian era, the rose cut diamond became popular as the cut sparkled beautifully in candlelight. Facets, special raised prong and open back settings, and movement all serve to promote play with light and make for stunning pieces.

Art Deco is one of the first truly international styles, that influenced the design of buildings, furniture, fashion and of course, jewelry. The movement was given a name from the international exposition of Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes, that was held in Paris in 1925 and largely dedicated to the jewelry arts.

Born out of ideas of modernism and the Industrial Age, this manifested into designs that used Cubism's bold abstraction and rectilinear shapes and combined them with intricate patterning, bold color and symmetry. High-end jewelry design houses like Cartier and Boucheron set the trends in gold and gemstones, which were then emulated by costume jewelry companies in glass or perhaps plastics, and brought to the masses.
