Overall a beautiful set of elegant styling. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, in use from 1838, which depicts the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of 950/1000 of 95% pure silver and a higher finesse than. The lid of the bottle bears a hallmark of the French wild boar. Bearing maker's marks, slightly rubbed but appears to be that of silversmith Joseph Chaumet, active 1890 - 1928 at 62 rue de Richelieu, Paris. In overall good antique condition.
