A stunning antique sterling silver hip flask. This early, premium quality piece features a gilded cup connecting to a crystal body with cut away section to view contents, and levels. The top completely unscrews, and is connected to the main body with a chain. There are no monograms or initials, and the thick gauge of silver would suggest that either the main body underneath the cup, or even the cap top would suit personalisation. Please see above for quantity available. 925 sterling silver, dated London 1879. Sponsors mark of Thomas Johnson I. Measures 4 1/4" (10.5 cm) tall, 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) wide and 1 (2.5 cm) deep. Item is in excellent condition, professionally cleaned and polished and re-corked, ready to go. Some very very slight signs of use commensurate with age - please see images above.
