This is for a gorgeous Cologne Bottle with original matching stopper. Back in the early 1900's, You could order this bottle from Pairpoint with the regular faceted ball stopper, or a special sterling silver stopper. You also could order the sterling stopper monogrammed, which this one is. The monogram is in a scrolling design placed in center of embossed floral scrolling accents so it really mixes well into the rest of the design elegantly one might not realize it's a mono at first glance it blends so well in the ornate design of the stopper.
Measures: 4-5/8" tall with stopper, 3-1/2" wide globe. Pattern cut is "Nevada" by Pairpoint. Its well done and great quality. There is a hallmark on the stopper but it's poorly stamped so not all of the letter of "sterling" are visible. It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1917 approximately). Guaranteed to be genuine ABP cut glass- I do not sell other types of glass as ABP like other sellers do. Condition: This is over 100 years old but in great condition for the age.
There are no visible issues like clouding/residue, no unsightly chips or bad damage. During close inspection I found a needle point indent on the edge of the top rim you feel but not see (microscopic and not an issue) This is the original stopper. This is for 2 reasons- We sell antiques / vintage goods, therefore they are used, I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get.
