Elegant antique English sterling silver and cut glass cruet set, complete with original silver-plated stand and matching faceted glass stoppers. The set includes six cut glass bottles, each with finely faceted bodies and original prism-cut stoppers (one is flat)housed in a decorative pierced silver stand with a swing handle and paw feet. Designed for oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and condiments, this type of set was traditionally used in formal English dining. Silver collars stamped with English hallmarks. Marked lion passant indicating sterling silver.
