Beautiful antique vanity jar featuring a sterling silver repoussé lid with an ornate Art Nouveau floral and scroll design. The sterling lid has deep raised detailing with flowing curves and flowers surrounding a central cartouche.

The base is made of heavy cut/pressed glass with faceted sides that catch the light beautifully. This piece dates to the late 1800s-early 1900s and would have originally been part of a lady's dressing table set for creams, powder, or other cosmetics.

Material: Sterling silver lid (marked STERLING), glass base. Design: Art Nouveau floral repoussé. Condition: Very good antique condition; lid shows expected age patina; glass is clear with only minor wear. Sterling lid with beautiful depth and detail.
