ART NOUVEAU CRANBERRY GLASS COLOGNE PERFUME BOTTLE with STERLING SILVER OVERLAY

  

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely antique Art Nouveau Period Cranberry/Ruby glass perfume, dresser or toiletries bottle with Sterling Silver overlay decoration, c.

This wonderful perfume bottle has a slender neck above the elongated rounded base. Beautiful dark cranberry coloration in the glass body, glass stopper cranberry shading over clear. Intricate sterling silver decoration with center cartouche (unused). The silver is unmarked but guaranteed to be Sterling. The bottle measures (with stopper inserted) 4 1/2" high, 2 1/2" wide and the top opening is 1/2 in diameter. The bottle has an internal hairline from under silver neck to mid-section of body that cannot be felt on the exterior. The stopper is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

The sterling overlay is excellent condition with no noted damage. Although damaged, this bottle would be a great display bottle and a lovely addition to any perfume bottle collection.
