RARE Pair of French Sterling Silver Etched Glass Bowls & Underplate s. This is a beautiful set of two French sterling and glass bowls with matching under plates. The tiny hallmarks are difficult to make out, but we have dated these pieces to circa 1879. Each plate is approximately 6 3/4 in diameter. The bowls are approximately 2 1/2" high and 4 1/4" wide. The sterling silver borders are composed of tiny ribbons connected by arcs of garland. The artistry and detail is stunning.

The underplates have scratches to the undersides commensurate with age and normal table wear. There are no chips, cracks, or damages. Please view all of the photos as they are part of the description. International Buyers - Please Note.
